In September 2015, I spent labor day weekend up in San Fransisco. Being up there gave me the opportunity to finally meet long time internet plant friends. Rob Co was the first person really in the carnivorous plant hobby to help me. He’s all around awesome and has become not just a plant friend, but a great friend in general. I was able to visit his greenhouse, otherwise known as The Asylum, and it was nothing short of amazing, despite most the Sarracenia being dormant.
Here are a few pictures from my visit:

Thanks Rob for being an inspiration not only as a grower, but as a person.

Hey Megan! It was truly an honor to have you over! I really love all the photos you’ve taken – thank you for capturing these great images of The Asylum. Simply fantastic! I’m really thrilled to see how far you’ve come as a grower, and I’m excited to see how far you’ll go. Thanks for all that you do – keep growing and keep inspiring us all 🙂
Cheers my friend!
